Creating video and what can be expected! For the beginner this is not an easy task, much to learn. Forget about just taking your cam outside and shooting a few clips and just throwing them together. Most recommended Videography programs are complicated. That is unless you bought an out of the box ( canned ), mix and go program. You may have gotten a video capture card which captures at a smaller frame size, like 320 pixels by 240 pixels and zooms to full screen, very pixilated! The canned programs have their drawbacks. Limited time on clips used, must have ads which show in your video, or little if any special effects or transitions for clip ins and outs. Now we are not putting down those canned programs, they can get the job done. |
Okay, you're ready to start. You bought your machine and programs and now for the fun! Now to learn the programs needed to do the job, you find most have Greek in all their manuals. If you don't know the terms and meanings you may be lost by now. Things to remember is how much room do I need to capture video to disk, with or without sound.
